Development programs are provided but we don't have much time to properly utilise them

there was a bit! but guess this is across all firms in the industry

Virtual graduate program learning is very unengaging.

Almost all of the trainings and grad learning sessions have been virtual which makes them really unengaging and also doesn't give you an opportunity to actively participate or meet other grads. Lots of access to online training courses eg linkedin learning. Most of the grad learning sessions have been either too basic or quite boring eg 'what is a consultant' session was held 5 months after we started by which time we already knew most of the info

So many national internally organised training sessions on team and divisional content. Graduate's required to complete training through tax institute as part of the 18 month graduate program. On the job training great also, ultimately depends on your supervisor's personality, which can vary which ever job you find yourself in.

Good training

The internally run courses are a bit of a joke. You just fluff around for a couple of days. They allow you to write up and look at 'notes' which are pasted around the room while doing the exams - not sure how legit that is.

We run some kind of general consulting training every fortnight. There are also service line specific training once a month (For me, that is Data Analytics). It is one of the strong suits of my team I feel.

Mostly just the expected training, how to use admin tools, company values and policies, etc.

Graduate training programs, but for specialised areas that are not very useful. There should be area specific training in the first few weeks. I have picked up a lot of soft skills in terms of communication, organisation, being proactive and adaptive etc. Comes from a line of work that involves different work being thrown at you every day

Very limited formal training opportunities. I was told during the hiring process that I would have access to training budget for a specific opportunity however this was forgotten and ignored whenever I pressed it after joining.

Online learning modules, in person trainings and on the job training.

The firm provides all three learning opportunities. You are trained on every job you go on and get to learn on the job. They further provide formal training opportunities frequently. They also have a training management system that provides you with resources you can go look at in your own time and pace. They further encourage most people to complete postgraduate studies and keep learning.

The audit foundations training we did for 2 weeks before being booked on our first jobs was not as useful in my opinion. I think that training would have been easier to follow if we had worked at a client site for a week or so to see how Clara works and examples of workpapers.

So far very good, I have had numerous opportunities to gain new qualifications, as well as attend informal trainings help by team members.

I have learnt a lot about financial auditing and have completed a variety of courses based on interpersonal skills.

Structured grad training program plan, with trainings run throughout the year and numerous additional trainings available.

Its been good, could be a tad more structured though.

Plenty of training opportunities outside standard mandatory training, always be open to learning new things as there is training for almost every topic you can think of.
