What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
No bonuses for graduates. Pay is below industry standards
Graduate, Sydney - 02 Sep 2024
it is not the most generous pay, guess this is a reflection across the big 4 accounting firms.
Graduate, Sydney - 28 Aug 2024
No to little bonus, well below market rate for some fields
Graduate, Sydney - 28 Aug 2024
Bonuses are negligible to non-existent. Pay is below market rate for my degree, but I knew that would be the case before I started so can't really complain.
Graduate, Sydney - 28 Aug 2024
All of the salary bands dont appear to reward tenure with the firm or the amount of hours worked. I.E. Incoming grads paid the same as grads with one years experience. Getting paid a higher rate as a lateral higher than someone who stays at the firm doesnt reward loyalty. Not financially viable to stay at the firm for a long period of time.
Graduate, Perth - 12 Aug 2024
Standard big 4 pay.
Graduate, Melbourne - 07 Aug 2024
Consultants and senior consultants are horribly overworked and underpaid - as the industry has come to know and expect at big 4. I just wonder how much longer the sheen of working at big 4 for graduated fresh out of uni will last.
Graduate, Melbourne - 07 Aug 2024
Bonuses are virtually non-existent (largely due to the economic climate at the moment). The salary is competitive with other similar graduate roles.
Graduate, Melbourne - 06 Aug 2024
Not great
Graduate, Melbourne - 06 Aug 2024
Very average salary.
Graduate, Perth - 10 Nov 2023
Low. Headline salary includes Super and we have to work unpaid overtime occasionally without automatic time in lieu
Graduate, Sydney - 08 Nov 2023
Pay is not great currently but hopefully I move up the ranks and gain some bonuses going forward.
Graduate, Perth - 08 Nov 2023
I think everyone knows coming into the Big 4 that you are expected to work ridiculous hours for barely any pay. I am doing it for the experience in the hopes I can move out of Big 4 into industry and earn better money
Graduate, Adelaide - 08 Nov 2023
Many employees are very unhappy with the pay on the basis of the effort and hours they put in to the work.
Graduate, Sydney - 08 Nov 2023
It is not very competitive for a starting salary
Graduate, Canberra - 08 Nov 2023
I don't get paid enough for the work I do
Graduate, Canberra - 08 Nov 2023
The pay is okay and moderate for the work. I think, it is well known in the media that the pay at a big 4 is not fantastic for the hours worked. However, the learning opportunities that are available, the ability to upskill and exposure you gain provides a point of difference.
Graduate, Brisbane - 08 Nov 2023
I would say are reasonable
Graduate, Canberra - 06 Nov 2023
The pay is not that great compared to other options I could have taken. It would be nice to have super added on to our salary as opposed to taken out, as the salary is already not that high. In the long run I think it will be ok but its a bit tough at the moment
Graduate, Brisbane - 06 Nov 2023
I think that for the level I am at the pay is understandable.
Graduate, Melbourne - 02 Nov 2023
What are your company's best or most unusual perks? For example: free tickets, free dinners, moving expenses, taxis, pension, etc.
Occasional team dinners, occasional expensing on light dinner if you work late
Graduate, Sydney - 02 Sep 2024
ubers and dinner when you stay back after 8, extra leave in compensation for overtime
Graduate, Sydney - 28 Aug 2024
No perks
Graduate, Sydney - 28 Aug 2024
T2 tea, small discounts on stores.
Graduate, Sydney - 28 Aug 2024
Lots of social perks, discounts, paid social events, drinks, private health rates, insurance rates etc.
Graduate, Perth - 12 Aug 2024
Very limited. Next to no perks. No more travel and very limited catered events and funding for extracurriculars in this economy
Graduate, Melbourne - 07 Aug 2024
Financial Year parties Christmas Parties Consulting Division events Graduate Comittee events team events Team lunches Many of these events are self-funded, but there is an effort to provide an environment where people can come together.
Graduate, Melbourne - 06 Aug 2024
Constant free food is great
Graduate, Perth - 10 Nov 2023
They have a rewards system that provides discounts to many major retailers. They also have excellent leave policies and pay for approved post grad study.
Graduate, Brisbane - 08 Nov 2023
Lots of miscellaneous discounts for various things.
Graduate, Sydney - 08 Nov 2023
I've worked with a few managers who make sure to recognize good performances with encore awards (which can be redeemed for gift cards). EOFY and Christmas parties are great as well.
Graduate, Canberra - 08 Nov 2023
Amazing parental leave
Graduate, Canberra - 08 Nov 2023
I think the variety of leaves available to employees at KPMG is definitely one of the best perks.
Graduate, Melbourne - 08 Nov 2023
Definitely lacking these extra perks unfortunately. I have not come across any generous or free offers.
Graduate, Sydney - 08 Nov 2023
Free drinks, KM reimbursements, dinners/lunches, social club events
Graduate, Adelaide - 08 Nov 2023
The perks are extremely disappointing. KPMG really need to consider (if not already available) perks such as leave policies for overtime, private health insurance, snacks in kitchen etc.
Graduate, Sydney - 08 Nov 2023
Nothing. I don't care about perks.
Graduate, Sydney - 08 Nov 2023
Generous leave policy. Flexibility.
Graduate, Perth - 08 Nov 2023
Our rewards systems where you can access discounts for various companies.
Graduate, Canberra - 06 Nov 2023
Generous parental leave policy, which may not be that relevant to most grads but is highly appealing to me. They have pretty good social events as well.
