We look for talented people with the potential to make an extraordinary difference for our clients, our firm and our communities.

Your opportunity

The KPMG vacation program is 4–8-week full-time program, open to students in the second last year of their degree.

Through our program, you will:

  • Be immersed in day-to-day life at KPMG. You’ll learn about the work we do and how you can make an impact
  • Have the dedicated support of a buddy and performance development manager
  • Have access to learning through face-to-face workshops and online platforms
  • Gain real world experience before you graduate and potentially secure a graduate role at the end of the program!

About you

At KPMG, we believe diversity of thought, background and experience strengthens relationships and delivers meaningful benefits to our people, our clients and communities. We look for people who align to our values, who are resilient, progressive thinkers who can bring a fresh perspective and communicate their ideas with passion.

To be eligible for our vacation program you need to be in your penultimate (second last) year of study and be graduating in 2024.

Where could your degree take you?

We're interested in you and your unique experiences and perspectives, not just your academic record or qualification. Regardless of your background, we’re dedicated to helping you grow your career and thrive with us.

We have vacationer opportunities available across our different career pathways:

Data and digital: Apply creative and innovative thinking while working with some of the latest innovations and technologies in data science and create actionable insights.

Finance and accounting: Use automation to streamline financial reporting or identify acquisition opportunities and be involved in planning a client’s finance division structure.

Audit: Use automation to streamline financial reporting or add value beyond the financial statement audit by providing assurance over other business drivers such as governance, risk, internal controls and KPIs.

Tax: Use methodical problem-solving and analytical thinking to provide tax advice to clients.

Risk and legal: Dig into model data to predict event likelihood, use forensic technology to identify risks in supply chains.

Advisory and business operations: Join our specialised teams that encourage our clients to thrive by thinking outside the box.

Technology and engineering: Use your tech skills and knowledge to benefit communities, like assessing solar farms or tracking koala movements.

To start your application, simply complete the online application form and submit your CV. If eligible, you will be asked to our complete online assessments, and if successful you’ll be invited to attend an interview.

Graduate Success Stories

  • Graduate stories
The coolest thing about my job would be rate of growth that Audit offers. It’s great to be able to work with company CFOs and higher management over accounting judgements and practices.

It's nice to be able to finish a job and sit back and look at all the work that was done, all of the setbacks that may have happened and look at the final outcome that the client is happy with and be proud of the work you accomplished.
