Chirag Kamra

At 3:00 PM, I have an internal review with my manager. We go over the progress of my tasks, discuss any issues, and strategize on how to tackle upcoming challenges. This is a great opportunity for feedback and aligning on priorities.

6.00 AM

Rise and Shine: I wake up to my alarm blaring at 6:00 AM. My first task of the day is to get out of bed and start my morning routine. I usually make myself a cup of coffee and a quick breakfast—typically oatmeal with fruit. While I eat, I skim through the latest news headlines and check any urgent emails that might have come through overnight.

Commute to Work: By 7:30 AM, I’m heading out the door and onto my daily commute in my car. Depending on traffic, this takes around 30-45 minutes. I use this time to listen to music or catch up on industry news. My commute is a great opportunity to mentally prepare for the day ahead.

8.15 AM

Arrive at the Office: I arrive at the office and check in with security before heading up to my floor. I start by settling into my desk, setting up my workstation, and reviewing my calendar for the day. This includes meetings, deadlines, and any critical tasks that need attention.

Morning Emails and Task Planning: The first major task of the day is to sift through my emails. I respond to any urgent requests and prioritize my to-do list. Today, I have a few project updates, client feedback, and internal team requests to address.

Team Meeting: At 9:30 AM, I have a team meeting to discuss our current project’s progress. We review our milestones, identify any roadblocks, and assign new tasks. This meeting is crucial for keeping everyone aligned and on track.

10.30 AM

Client Call: I jump on a video call with one of our clients. The call is focused on discussing their feedback on a recent deliverable and planning the next steps. My role is to provide updates, answer questions, and coordinate the necessary actions with our internal team.

12.00 PM

Lunch Break: Lunchtime! I usually grab a sandwich from a nearby café and catch up with colleagues. It’s a good chance to relax and chat about non-work topics, which helps break up the day and build team camaraderie. We mix up our lunch locations too, trying different places.

Wrap-Up and Review: As the workday winds down, I review my to-do list and plan for the next day. I check my emails one last time to ensure there are no urgent matters that need immediate attention. Then, I tidy up my workspace and prepare to leave.

6.00 PM

Head Home: I finish up around 6:00 PM and head home. I use this time to decompress—sometimes I go for a walk or catch up on a hobby.

Evening Routine: Back home, I unwind by preparing dinner and catching up on a favourite TV show or reading a book. It’s my time to relax and recharge for the next day.
