Woodstock is an early childhood operator with three services. We strongly believe in creating a safe and secure environment for children to play, learn and grow. Our indoor/outdoor play-based program enables children and educators uninterrupted play time, with embedded intentional teaching and transition to school skills development. 

Woodstock Child Care Centre caters to 63 children aged between 0 and 6 years. The centre is located in Burwood, NSW. Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 7am to 6pm. 

Our nursery (0-2 years) has up to 16 babies and young children per day. Our toddler room (2-3 years) has up to 20 children per day.

The role 

  • Plan, implement and evaluate play-based learning programs (EYLF)
  • Document children’s learning through observations and daily journals
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with the children, families, and colleagues
  • Provide a safe and stimulating play environment
  • Essential: passion for children, be proactive, and ability to have fun!

Qualifications and experience 

  • Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • A current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Experience and knowledge of the National Quality Framework – Law & Regulations, EYLF and Standards
  • Current knowledge of Child Protection legislation
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Current NSW Working With Children Check
  • Previous Experience is desirable, but not essential
