Recruitment Process

The steps in the recruitment process

  1. Application - include your CV, cover letter, academic transcript or proof of active study and Working with children check number. Email to admin@woodstockchildcare.com.au
  2. Face-to-face interview preferred (zoom meetings can also be arranged). Duration approx. 30mins with the area manager and nominated supervisor.
  3. Talent trial (3hrs), paid if successful. Observing candidates' ability to engage with children and educators , proactiveness, and ability to document children's learning (for permanent roles only).

The selection criteria

  • Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (completed or studying)
  • A current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Experience and knowledge of the National Quality Framework – Law & Regulations, EYLF and Standards
  • Current knowledge of Child Protection legislation
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Current NSW Working With Children Check
  • Previous Experience in a similar role preferred
