Location: Sydney, NSW

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare daily meals and snacks that are healthy, varied, and appealing to young children which meet NSW Health requirements;
  • Ensure all food is stored, handled, and served safely, following all relevant food safety regulations;
  • Ensure menus meet the dietary needs of the children, including any allergies or cultural requirements;
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, including managing food and equipment inventory;
  • Order food supplies in consultation with Campus Principal;
  • Collaborate with our Educators to support the overall health and well-being of the children.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in Early Childhood Service Kitchen or 5 years in food handling/service;
  • Certificate III in Hospitality(Commercial Cookery) or equivalent;
  • Food Handling Safety Certificate SITXFSA001;
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC);
  • National Police Clearance Certificate;
  • Ability to manage allergies and intolerances, and high standards for hygiene and safety in the kitchen.
