Wendy's Home Care Graduate Programs & Internships

  • Personal Care Services

Are you ready for a life-changing life in the care and support sector? Working with our team, you'll have opportunities to work flexible hours, and learn and grow across a variety of roles. You will change lives – as well as your own.

You will need to be able to assist older people and/or people living with a disability with tasks like domestic assistance, social outings and appointments, basic personal care support, or helping family carers by providing them with some respite. We match you with clients who need the skill set that you bring to the table, so initially, you may be able to do some, or all, of the tasks, listed. We are happy to provide training and buddy you up with an experienced team member so you can expand your skills if you would like to learn.

Requirements:

You will need to have a First Aid Certificate, COVID-19 Vaccine certificate (including booster), driver's licence, reliable vehicle, and be willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check (this check enables you to work for both older Australians and people with a disability). If you have a can-do attitude, caring nature and great skills, or a desire to learn, talk to us about work opportunities that would suit you.

About Wendy's:

We exist to help people stay independent - living their lives, on their terms, in their own homes… but never feeling alone. We do this through care and connection. Wendy (yes, she's a real person) started the business more than 25 years ago and is still keeping an eye on things — making sure that we can all be proud to deliver Wendy's care and everything she stands for.

We value 'connection' which for us is about a feeling of being part of a team, part of a community and connected to the people we care for. We are incredibly grateful for the connections we have built throughout the Western Sydney, Nepean, and Blue Mountains regions; our Wendy's team; and our incredible clients. Since 1995, Wendy's Home Care has been a leading provider of quality in-home care. We are passionate about helping people live their lives to the full.
