Vital Home Health Services delivers high-quality person-centred care to the elderly, disabled and vulnerable members of our community in Sydney and Tasmania.

We are operated by a team of Registered nurses who are passionate about making a difference to people in the community. We provide people-centred care, making sure each client receives personalised care and support dedicated to meeting their specific individual needs and goals.

Recruitment Process

  • Initial 15-minute phone screen interview
  • In-person interview with the hiring manager
  • Practical assessment to evaluate competency and ability
  • Submission of qualifications and other essential credentials

What makes you a great candidate?

You will be motivated and committed to caring for the elderly, disabled and vulnerable members of our community. You'll have a professional, positive and passionate approach to providing the highest level of support and enjoy building relationships with both clients and families.

You should also possess but are not limited to the following:

Essential:

  • Minimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services (or currently completing)
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Evidence of good communication skills, including basic written and spoken English
  • Evidence of good interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Smart Phone with internet access
  • Current and satisfactory National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Australian working rights

Desirable:

  • Previous experience caring for the elderly or people with disability
  • Current driver's license
  • A reliable car with comprehensive car insurance
  • NDIS worker's screening check (or willingness to obtain)
