Our Clinic

Located in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, Aldgate Veterinary Clinic lies between Stirling and Bridgewater. This well-established practice provides a high level of veterinary care, whilst maintaining a personal touch that makes their clients feel like family.

The dedicated team treat cats, dogs, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, birds, and even the occasional wildlife patient! Aldgate is an integral and trusted part of the local community.

The Opportunity

  • We are looking for a casual or part-time vet nurse to join our team. We would offer work on Saturdays plus 2 days during the week (minimum of 22 hours per week).

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support to our veterinarians in all aspects of vet nursing
  • Provision of high-standard patient and customer care
  • Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
  • Performing minor procedures when required
  • Assisting with reception and administration tasks as required

About You

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing desirable but not essential
  • Excellent animal handling skills
  • An extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
  • High patient care standards with good attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team and genuinely support the team
  • Initiative and good time management skills.
  • Knowledge of Ezyvet is ideal but not essential
