Recruitment Process
Steps in the recruitment process:
Apply by sending your resume
You will then be phoned and asked to complete forms which will be emailed to you. These include your Criminal record Check and a Pre-Employment Health Screen
You will be contacted by the Home Care Manager to invite you to attend an interview. This will be confirmed via an email
Face to Face interview
Reference Checks will be completed
Once all checks have been returned with nil issues, you will receive a letter of offer
You will be invited to attend paid induction and then linked with an experienced staff member for buddy shifts
Selection criteria:
Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent
Current First Aid Certificate
Current Australian driver's license, a reliable registered car, and comprehensive insurance
Willingness to maintain professional working relationships with our Consumers
Sound verbal and written communication skills
Be flexible and adapt quickly to changing consumer priorities
Genuine empathy and mature attitude towards consumers of our service
