A community of practice amongst universities, employers and service providers to assist autists, and neurodivergent individuals generally, with the transition to college and university, success in their courses and assistance in increasing their chances of securing a job and commencing a career.

GENIUS ARMOURY
A platform to attract and identify a cybersecurity talent pool within the autistic community and provide them with some fundamentals training in cyber security. This project is supported by a consortium including BHP, DXC, Splunk, La Trobe University, Curtin University and AustCyber.
The materials provide an introductory cyber security syllabus that is accessible and understandable by autists with minimal or no prior knowledge of cybersecurity. It is geared towards people who may be interested in further learning or commencing a career in cybersecurity and ethical hacking. The course provides a foundation syllabus in an inspirational and understandable manner that is intended to spark interest and the pursuit of further learning.
BE YOUR BEST ACADEMY
"We develop life skills courses for our neurodivergent peers"
Be Your Best Academy is a group of neurodivergent adults determined to design a good curriculum of life skills learning materials for our peers. We are aware that life skills programs and courses are essential to the well-being and positive quality of life for neurodivergent populations. Alas, most of the courses out in the world are not written, researched or curated by neurodivergent people. As such, a lot of the skills and strategies offered have a "disorder" and "needing to fix yourself" sort of feeling. All the materials on Be Your Best Academy are created by neurodivergent people, who are paid for the work they do. We embrace advocacy and are proud to be contributors to this curriculum. We hope our peers feel respected by us, enjoy the courses, and can be confident in knowing we care.
Courses cover the areas of organisation skills, presentation skills, relationships, cooking and nutrition, coping with grief, newly diagnosed autism, ADHD and dyslexia, "careers after COVID" and a comprehensive course on "Independent living for neurodivergent professionals".
There are also neurodiversity courses for employers, parents and health care workers.
We pay market rates of pay commensurate with experience and depending on the role.
