The Kids Cottage Middle Harbour OOSH offers before and after school care for the students of Middle Harbour Public School in Mosman, as well as vacation care for the greater community.

The Centre currently caters for up to 230 children daily, which is separated into three groups for After School Care and up to 4 groups for Vacation Care allowing for our programs to reflect the cognitive, social, physical and emotional development of each child.

We believe in providing an inclusive, age-appropriate, creative, active and fun program with a variety of choices, in a safe, caring and sustainable environment.

The Kids Cottage is a non-profit organisation managed by a volunteer committee of parents and school community members. The Committee is a sub-committee of the Middle Harbour Public School Parents & Citizens Association (P&C).

Recruitment Process

Informal Interview - If your application is successful, a member of our Management Team will contact you to organise an Informal Interview. Here we will discuss your experience with Children, personal working style and interests & hobbies.
Shadow Shifts - If your interview is successful, a member of our Management Team will organise days for you to come in for 3 individual shadow shifts. The purpose of the shadow shifts is to get you accustomed to how our organisation is run day-to-day whilst introducing you to the team and children. This is also your chance to trial our industry and see if this job works for you!

Successful Applicants often have a can-do attitude and have experience in a multitude of industries. Applications from people with little to no experience in childcare are welcome!
