2022 Handyperson | Maintenance Assistant - TAFE Students preferred null

About The Role:

As a Full-Time Handyperson, your responsibilities will include general basic maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel, including our guest rooms.

Your main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Attend to routine guest rooms issues such as faulty TVs, lighting, air conditioning, and door locks
• Perform minor plumbing repairs (e.g. tap washers, toilet washers)
• Grouting and minor repairs to tiles
• Furniture repairs
• Any other duties or project work as directed by the Chief Engineer.

Requirements:

• Previous hotel experience is a plus
• Experience in carpentry and/or painting would be an advantage.
• Able to work a variety of shifts over a seven-day rotating roster – including mornings and evenings
• You will be a team player and have the ability to juggle a variety of tasks
• The willingness to comply with all CovidSafe workplace requirements
