We usually call or video call shortlisted candidates using Microsoft Teams for an initial interview.
Depending upon the seniority of the role, there is a second interview at the hotel with the department manager. Following that, the next step is reference checking. Some senior roles require ability testing online.
Most operational positions are paid as per the HIGA - Hospitality Industry General Award on an hourly basis paid fortnightly. We have full time, part time and casual roles which will be specified in the job advertisement. We prefer to hire full time where possible. Senior roles are paid a negotiated annual salary based upon experience.
