Boilermaker / Fabricator / Welder - TAFE Students Preferred null

Position Description:

• General Boiler-making duties including use of:     Grinding, cutting, (Friction and Gas cutting) welding (GMAW, TIG & stick) polishing, cropping, pressing, heat treatment and stress relieving of steels.
• Co-ordinate and work in team environment.
• Maintain and use equipment as designed.
• Wire brushing and preparing steel ready for painting.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and engineering plans/drawings.
• Evaluate all engineering drawings and ensure implementation according to welding specifications.
• Metal fabrication to repair existing products and parts to creat new ones.
• Ensure that all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements and that all documentation is completed on time.
• Daily Time sheets are to be completed accurately and on time.
• Adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Daily housekeeping of general area.
• General labouring and assisting other trades and departments as required.
