Taren Point Engineering has been in existence for over 30 years, servicing the Lift Industry, mainly, manufacturing Lift Components.
The company is occasionally sought after by other industries, contributing to the diversity of their work.
Historically, the workforce at the company exceeded 100 employees. However, due to the increased importation of components from overseas, the number of employees has diminished. Despite this, the company remains busy and is actively seeking qualified Fabricators/Boilermakers & Fitters and Turners.
In addition to the main facility, the company operates another factory in Sydney dedicated to Laser Cutting work. There is potential for growth for individuals who align with the company's needs and qualifications.

Face to face interview will be held to determine as to whether the applicant has the right qualifications for the position.
As we service the Lift Industry it is critical that components are produced to the Australian Safety Standards, hence the reason the applicant needs to understand the importance of the work and be able to follow direction and capable of reading drawings etc.
They must be able to ask questions if and when necessary.
It is preferred that applicants are “Team Players” being able to communicate and willing to assist where necessary.
Employees at Taren Point Engineering are paid the award rates set in the Industry upon commencement.
Once they prove themselves and have completed the probationary period, there would be a review on their hourly rate.
