This role will provide integral support to our Sydney legal secretarial team, assisting our senior legal secretaries with a variety of tasks including (but not limited to):

  • file management (hard and electronic), including file opening, closing and archiving;
  • basic document formatting and amendments, and preparation of correspondence;
  • photocopying, binding, scanning etc;
  • assistance with our monthly billing process;
  • answering phones;
  • lunchtime reception cover and cover for secretarial absences;
  • be pro-active and show initiative in assisting the senior secretaries in their day to day activities; and
  • be willing and happy to do whatever comes across your desk on a day to day basis.
  • you will also enjoy mentoring from the senior secretaries who will work closely with you in a collaborative and open way to ensure you get the most out of your role.

To succeed in this role you will ideally have a minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in an office administration type role. You will possess high attention to detail along with good time management, and interpersonal skills, and be tech-savvy with experience in MS Office, specifically Word and Outlook.

You will value diversity, be an excellent communicator and enjoy working with people. You will also have a strong appreciation for and demonstrated ability, to deliver a high level of client service.

Your flexibility, initiative and 'can do' attitude are essential in this role. You will also demonstrate maturity and enjoy working in a team environment. Your commitment to excellence will see you shine in this role.
