Possums Corner is a community-run not-for-profit child care centre caring for children from 2 months of age up to preschool. In addition to being a long day care service, they offer a preschool program for children in the year before school. Included in their daily rate for preschoolers are two sessions of Mandarin per week. Parents may also choose to enrol their child in Happy Feet, Ready Steady Go and Pro Tennis at an additional cost.
Possums Corner provides nappies that are biodegradable and are disposed of in biodegradable bin liners reducing their environmental impact.
They have a full-time cook on their service serving morning tea, hot freshly prepared lunch, and afternoon tea daily.
Possums Corner uses Storypark to keep their families updated about service events and post regular updates from each room.
Their dedicated staff create a warm and welcoming atmosphere in a homely, natural environment. Possums were assessed in 2017 achieving an exceeding rating in all quality areas.
Possums Corner service is managed by a committee comprised of parents who have children enrolled at Possums’. They were open Mondays to Fridays from 7 am to 6 pm, 50 weeks of the year.
