The history of Osborn House begins in 1892 when early settlers George and Dinah Osborn constructed their grand residence, known as 'The Knoll,' in what was then Jordan's Crossing and is now Bundanoon. The Osborns graciously opened their home to guests from the early 1900s until 1925. Over the years, the property changed ownership multiple times, even serving as a residence for Dutch internees at the end of World War II. In the 1980s, Solar Plexus, a Sydney-based fitness centre, acquired the grounds and operated Solar Springs Health Retreat for 35 years.
