To apply for this role, please submit a cover letter and resume to radine@orchidspa.com.au. If successful, they will get back to you within 1-2 days to conduct a phone interview asking about your previous work experiences, qualifications and education.
Proceeding the phone call, you will have a trial day (3-4 hours) for you to work with real clients. Through this trial day, we will be assessing the quality of your work, your ability to communicate with clients, your organisational skills and time management skills.
You will be made aware of the status of your application by the end of your trial day.
Successful applicants will have demonstrated a minimum level of standard in delivering nail/massage/beauty services. They are motivated, eager to learn and have an outgoing workplace attitude. They are able to understand clients' needs and build a relationship with them. Finally, they are a team player and able to contribute to a supportive working environment.
Successful applicants will be paid above the award rate, $25-$35 depending on their qualifications and experience. We have no minimum educational level requirement; however, applicants need to have at least some experience of performing either nail, beauty or massage services.
Other compensation benefits include bonuses, sick leave, annual leave, long service leave and more. Successful applicants will be entitled to all the benefits of a permanent worker. They also offer employee discounts.
There is room for professional development through Orchid since we are a starting company with a small team but big dreams and goals, there is potential for growth in other business areas such as sales, marketing, management, operations and more. If employees show potential in other areas, they will most likely be promoted within 9-18 months.
