We need more Assisted Travel Support Officers to accompany students with special needs on their transport to and from school.
The NSW Department of Education is looking for Assisted Travel Support Officers (ATSOs) to work on a temporary basis during the school year.
The Assisted School Travel Program (ASTP) plays a significant role in meeting the needs of eligible students with disability by providing free specialised transport to and from school where parents and carers are unable to provide or arrange transport.
ATSOs are department employees who provide additional supervision and support for students on transport. ATSOs supervise and support students with behavioural and medical needs. They ensure students with disability arrive at school safe and ready to learn.
Vacancies exist across NSW including regional areas in NSW. This is the perfect casual job to compliment your TAFE schedule. International students must have an unrestricted working visa.
