Nous is a great place to work…

Nous Group is an international management consultancy with over 800 people working across Australia and New Zealand, the UK, Ireland and Canada. We are a values-based organisation that is inspired and determined to improve people’s lives in significant ways. Working in unique, cross-disciplinary teams we create innovative and enduring solutions that transform businesses, governments, and communities. We realise a bigger idea of success.

Nous is recognised as Australia’s top workplace, ranking first in the 2021 Best Places to Work Awards (Australia), and a Great Place to Work in 2019, 2017, 2015 and 2013 – we only enter every second year!

We’ve been previously named Best Management Consulting Firm by the Australian Financial Review. Nous has also been acknowledged as one of the Top 100 Graduate Employers, ranking 2 in the Management Consulting industry, and placing overall 8 on the 2023 list, which uses popularity and quality to assess graduate employers in Australia, and look forward to extending our influence globally.

What we do...

We offer a broad consulting capability across business strategy, public policy, organisational capability, executive talent and development, transformational change and digital strategy and capability.

A snapshot of recent projects:

  • developing a strategy to respond to key health system challenges and reforms including the use of health analytics and technology
  • re-designing education innovation functions and organisation design for major universities
  • generating solutions using advanced data analytics techniques to better design policy, strategy, and services
  • designing a strategy for a major Australian bank to grow overseas operations
  • reviewing care coordination for Indigenous Australians with chronic disease, using data analytics and drawing on consultations with service providers and Indigenous clients
  • developing an international operating model for a large, diversified investor
  • the implementation of a financial service provider’s new leadership and cultural change
  • using co-design techniques to work with victims and perpetrators of family violence to create a service development plan for a contract centre.

How we will develop and support you...

At Nous, we set you up for success. We’ve designed an intensive graduate induction program to help you learn key consulting skills and extend your knowledge quickly. Your development doesn’t end at induction, it continues for your time at Nous with a wide range of learning opportunities through check-ins, webinars, online learning, on-project learning and formal learning programs.

Our graduate consultants have the opportunity to rotate across all service lines. Gaining experience across strategy, public policy, economics, transformation & implementation, organisational performance, leadership & capability, data & analytics, digital, and design.
