We have been providing high-quality early years care and education in the local community for over 40years, and have a good reputation within our local community. We have onsite parking and are located close to the Metro train line and Bus services.

We believe that to provide a high-quality service to our Families and Children, it is important for us to have both good staffs to child ratios as well as experienced, qualified staff within our Centre.

Nought to Five ECC has a Centre Enterprise Agreement that offers above award salaries and conditions to all their staff, monthly RDO provided for full-time staff, Time in Lieu for attendance at meetings, professional development, team events, and monthly/annual staff awards.

Recruitment Process

The steps in our recruitment process include email application including covering letter and inclusion of resume.
If selected for an interview, the applicant attends a face to face interview with a panel of 2-3 people, including the Nominated Supervisor and Room Educators. If deemed appropriate, the applicant may be asked to come for a paid trial day as part of the interview process.
If successful at interview, applicant attends a paid Orientation visit prior to starting.

To be successful in obtaining the position will depend upon presentation at interview, suitability for the role being applied for, qualifications and skills.

Remuneration & Career Growth

Staff are employed under our own Enterprise Bargaining Agreement that aims to pay Staff above award conditions.
Staff are classified according to their years of service, so a new Graduate can expect to progress levels with a wage increase according to their relevant qualification.
