2022 ICT Support Officer - TAFE Students preferred null

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our busy team to install, train and support our proprietary transaction management & payment platform, access control & cost recovery systems in Libraries, Schools, Universities, Accommodation sites and more.

The role will be based at our Belrose office and will entail providing remote & onsite support to our existing clients, assist with the design and implementation of systems for new & existing clients.

Once training completed flexible work arrangements are available for a hybrid work from home/office setup.

MonitorBM have a major market share of public libraries utilising our Computer Reservation, Facilities & Asset Management platform, Self Service print & photocopy payment via embedded apps, online ecommerce payment platform & point of sale systems.

Our system is also currently utilised by 3 major Universities in NSW, as well as Universities in Canberra, Melbourne & QLD.

Our School solution is a turnkey cash-free payment platform for parents, students & staff to purchase items across campus using monitorBM's online eCommerce shopping portal in conjunction with on premise cash free point of sale systems.

Some of the largest student accommodation providers on the east coast utilise monitorBM's self-service cash free payment platform for laundry payments.

TAFE NSW have been utilising the monitor solution for 20+ yrs to deliver printing, copying & pay for parking services.

Your role includes the installation & support of these systems to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Helpdesk, customer support including telephone and email support
• Installation of Monitor proprietary software, banking payment gateways, EFTPOS Pinpads & integration to external banking payment systems, library management systems & Microsoft Active Directory Services
• Installation & support for our smartphone-based applications & payment platforms
• Client communication via remote support and on-site installation work
• Provide customer training & documentation for remote and onsite work
• Field service support & maintenance for our software and hardware products such as card readers, self-service cash & EFTPOS reload touchscreen kiosks, Point of Sale Systems, Door & Laundry access control units.

Desirable Experience & Skills:

• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems including MS Server
• Basic Web Page support & IIS management
• Basic SQL knowledge, SQL queries & support knowledge
• Understanding and experience in networking. Basic understanding of software and hardware network connectivity, TCPIP routing for installation & support diagnosis
• Excellent customer service, verbal & written communication skills
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Microsoft Active Directory
• Basic Electronics understanding
• Hardware installation/repair (Computers, Printers, EFTPOS Terminals, POS Stations etc.)
