Minimusic has been providing DJ Hire and Mobile Disco Services in the Sydney Metropolitan Area for 30 years. A total of 40 years "hands-on" experience has witnessed our involvement in the provision of DJ services for many of Sydney's 4 and 5-star hotel chains and premier reception venues including the Hilton, Travelodge, Holiday Inn, Rydges, Vibe, Park Royal and Sebel to name a few. In that time we have serviced all types of parties, functions and events from christenings, kids birthdays, 18th birthdays, 21st birthdays, engagements, weddings, corporate events, school dances and nightclubs. In fact, Minimusic's track record speaks for itself as we have consistently catered for up to a thousand shows per year for the past 30 years.

At Minimusic our mission is to elevate the excitement level of a crowd to a height that it would never have achieved, had we not been there. We are there to make a difference.

Minimusic's challenge, is to provide a quality DJ service at the best price possible... the ability to harness "value for
money" without sacrificing quality.

Recruitment Process

Selection Criteria

  • Must own a car.
  • Must have a driver's license.
  • Must be reliable, honest and without agenda not inline with Minimusic goals.
  • Must have a "personal responsibility" work ethic.

Remuneration & Career Growth

Applicants begin with a training program that is free of charge. Applicants will not be paid to train. The training program consists of 4 one hour theory sessions and up to 4 five hour practical sessions as a trainee on the job.

Thereafter completing the training program, applicants begin on an "apprentice rate" that increments according to the accumulation of "on-the-job experience". The goal is to reach "on-the-job competency" such that their performance can meet "better than average" expectation. This process is achieved after the accumulation of up to 300 hours or less of paid "apprentice rate" employment. After this time it is expected the applicant is sufficiently experienced and competent to receive a full wage.
