Master Kid Child Care Centre is a Long Day Care Centre operating from 7 am - 6 pm. It caters for 39 children a day ranging from 4 months - 5 years. The small capacity helps educators to build strong, nurturing relationships with the families and the children. It provides a warm, family feel.
If a candidate wishes to apply for a position at the Centre, they would first ask he/she to email their resume and their qualifications to their email at mkid23@optusnet.com.au.
If they do not have any qualifications but is thinking of starting to study and is interested in a traineeship please mention this in email also.
Next they would organise a suitable time for the candidate to come to the centre to have a look around, meet the team and the children and have a friendly discussion with the director on what position they are interested in, their availabilities, discuss any experience they have had. This conversation is very relaxed and just a way to get to know one another.
Depending on the position the candidate is interested the candidate may be asked to come to the centre to work a few paid casual shifts so he/she can have see if they like the centre and if they work well with the team. If they are happy and the team is happy a contract would be discussed and signed. Sometimes the casual shifts are skipped and a contract is signed straight away.
The centre pays above award rate.
The centre provides paid professional training development courses throughout the year.
Depending on work performance and also candidates interest he/she may be promoted to a room leader role.
