Lorikeet Early Learning Centre, located at St George Hospital in Kogarah, was established in 1990 by the NSW Government to provide essential care and education to children whose parents work within the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD). This employer-sponsored facility offers 56 places and operates as a long day care service.

Lorikeet Early Learning Centre is actively seeking an Early Childhood Educator to become a valued member of their team. As an employee of the NSW State Government, you can expect to benefit from above-legal staff-to-child ratios and enjoy a low staff turnover.

Newly qualified educators will have the opportunity to commence their journey in the Preschool Room, working with up to 26 children alongside a team of 4 educators, including 2 Early Childhood Teachers (ECTs). This supportive environment provides an ideal platform for continuous learning from experienced, qualified educators.

For those with experience, Lorikeet Early Learning Centre offers the chance to collaborate with other dedicated educators, all committed to enhancing the quality of care and education provided. The Centre also emphasizes dedicated programming time, regular team and staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and study leave for those pursuing further Early Childhood Education and Care studies.

Additional benefits of joining the team include monthly accrued days off (ADOs), access to well-resourced facilities, salary packaging options, and favourable working conditions. If you're passionate about early childhood education and are seeking a nurturing and professionally enriching environment, Lorikeet Early Learning Centre encourages you to get in touch and explore this exciting opportunity.
