Ladder Graduate Programs & Internships

  • Charity, Social Work & Volunteering

Ladder, the official charity of AFL Players and a partner of the AFL champions the belief that every young person deserves a chance at success. Through the AFL players' community initiative, Ladder provides mentorship and vital support to empower young individuals to achieve their aspirations.

Established as an independent non-profit organization in 2007, Ladder was founded by AFL players who recognized the transformative potential of sports and the AFL industry as catalysts for social change. To this day, players remain deeply committed to Ladder, serving as staff, board members, advocates, volunteers, and mentors.

Ladder's impactful programs are tailored to the specific needs of young people throughout Australia, targeting individuals aged 16 to 25. These programs focus on enhancing crucial aspects of their lives, including self-efficacy, community integration, overall well-being, independent living skills, and education, employment, and training opportunities. Ladder's enduring mission is to enrich the lives of young people and foster their development.
