Kurri Kurri Community Services is experiencing an increasing demand for our services in the Hunter region as well as elsewhere in New South Wales. 

KKCS is opening a new service and looking for casual/part-time / fulltime educators to assist with the delivery of our planned activities. You will also be responsible for always ensuring the safety and well-being of children.

The successful applicant must be available to work peak times including before and after school and holiday periods.

As an OOSH Educator, you will have

  • A passion and ability to inspire and motivate young people.
  • A knowledge of Children Services Regulations including, The Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework
  • Maintain a positive and safe learning culture.
  • A great communicator, both written and verbally.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.

Essential Criteria:

  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
  • Child Protection Certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Australian Federal Police Check
  • Meet the COVID Vaccination Requirements as per Public Health Order mandates.
