Your Exciting New Role

With your confidence and excellent ability to communicate, you will promote and champion safety awareness on topics such as safe working procedures, hazardous materials, and accident prevention techniques to ensure all stakeholders are aware of their HS&E responsibilities.  With the support of management, you will facilitate risk assessments to develop appropriate risk minimization strategies.

our Responsibilities 

  • Promoting and driving the desired safety culture, values and expected behaviour of stakeholders.
  • Assisting with implementing and maintaining a strategic HS&E management plan.
  • Ensuring all stakeholders are aware of their HS&E responsibilities.
  • Providing HS&E and training advice to various levels of stakeholders through multiple communication channels including toolbox meetings
  • Undertaking risk management assessments of worksites and developing appropriate risk minimization strategies.
  • Assisting in achieving compliance with the Company’s HS&E requirements, through audit, reporting and strategic plan development.
  • Conducting both system and workplace audits as required.
  • Implementation and upkeep of HS&E systems.

Selection Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or higher.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Inquisitive nature, not afraid to ask questions.
  • An innovative approach to continue to build a strong HS&E culture.
  • Strong written, communication, and interpersonal skills (comfortable promoting safety).
  • To be invested in building your knowledge and experience to enlighten others.
  • Attention to detail and well-organized.
  • Ability to travel between sites on a monthly and ad hoc basis.
  • Intermediate Office 365 and System Savvy!
