Key responsibilities

  • Plan and determine necessary coater settings to achieve desired decorative surface finishes
  • Safely set up and operate coater for required trials in conjunction with research scientists and engineers as per Safe Operating Procedures
  • Observe machine operations to detect malfunctions and make necessary adjustments required to achieve desired surface finishes
  • Complete cleaning and changing hygiene tasks as required for precision coatings application
  • Plan and coordinate regularly scheduled maintenance of equipment
  • Make recommendations and troubleshoot errors/malfunctions

About you

  • Self-starter with a “can do” attitude
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience on operation of coating equipment such as roller coaters
  • Preferred knowledge and experience in decorative coatings and application and curing of UV coatings
  • At least 5 years' experience working in related industry (coatings, decorative finishing, furniture manufacturing, adhesives, etc desired)
