The Quality Management

Interchange Australia has a quality framework for managing and delivering services. It's governed by organisational policies and procedures as well as the NSW Disability Service Standards pertaining to people under 65 and the Aged Care Standards pertaining to people over 65. It provides clients and carers with a client handbook that covers a number of FAQs including changes and additions to service delivery, what they can expect as a client of Interchange Australia, their rights and responsibilities and how to provide feedback and comments about their service delivery. Interchange Australia always welcome feedback and uses this information to improve continuously. 

The Staff

Interchange Australia has a great team of qualified staff who are experienced in providing care and support services. It matches support staff abilities and personalities to clients’ requirements to ensure that it meets individual needs. All Interchange Australia staff have their Working with Children check, National Police Clearance, a current first aid certificate and receive ongoing training. It has an on-call team available to manage services after hours and on weekends and public holidays.

Recruitment Process

Essential Requirements:

  • NDIS orientation module
  • Cert III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Disability Work or Willingness to Obtain
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination, Current WWCC, NDIS Worker Screening Check, RMS Driving Record, and First Aid Certificate. Candidates must have a right to work in Australia.

Salary: 30.46 – $76.15 per hour
