Bringing together inspired thinkers, creators and innovators from across the world for a series of conferences, festivals, expos and parties – SXSW Sydney is set to ignite creative discovery in areas of technology, innovation, gaming, music, and screen (big and small).

SXSW Sydney 2023 will have more than 1,000 sessions, events, screenings, showcases and experiences across 8 days and 7 nights - it will be the must-attend annual event for the Asia-Pacific regions creators and innovators seeking to shape and discover future trends and an exciting way to be involved and be part of this is to VOLUNTEER.

Volunteering for SXSW Sydney is a fantastic way to gain behind-the-scenes insight and be part of this major international event in Sydney's lineup - being hosted outside of Austin, Texas for the first time in the event's history.

The majority of shifts with SXSW Sydney are scheduled between 8am - 11pm - shifts will range between 5-7.5 hours (this includes meal break during your shift) We encourage volunteers to make themselves available to take on multiple shifts in different areas of the event to experience everything.
