Apprentice Pastry Chef - Certificate III in Patisserie

As an Apprentice Pastry Chef, you will gain the skills and knowledge required and work alongside highly skilled Pastry Chefs to gain quality hands-on experience. While undertaking this role, the Apprentice will acquire the skills enabling them to cook, mix, bake, fill, ice and decorate all kinds of cakes and pastries.

As the Apprentice, you may perform the following tasks, but are not limited to:

  • Load and unload mixture into ovens using tins and trays
  • Operate and monitor baking equipment and temperature to control product quality, and
  • Glaze and decorate with icing or cream.

We are looking for eager individuals with a passion for baking to kick-start their pastry careers! Most importantly working as an apprentice pastry chef will give you the skills and knowledge to one day run our own bakery!

Eligibility:

To be eligible to work as an apprentice or trainee in NSW you must either have:

  • Australian Citizenship
  • Australian Permanent Residency
  • New Zealand Passport Holder residing in Australia for more than six years
