Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Before & After School Care Coordinator to lead and support the daily operations of our vibrant 50-place centre. This part-time position offers flexibility, with the opportunity to increase hours based on the successful candidate's preference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership: Develop, implement, and lead dynamic and engaging programs that cater to the needs and interests of children.
- Community Engagement: Foster a fun, caring, and inclusive environment for children, families, and the local community.
- Operational Management: Oversee daily centre operations with the support of the Director, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Team Development: Build, mentor, and lead a cohesive team of educators, promoting a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
- Administration: Efficiently manage rosters, staffing ratios, and centre administration with a minimum of 4 hours of dedicated off-floor time each week.

Skills and Experience:

- Compliance Knowledge: Working knowledge or willingness to learn about Child Protection and the 'Child Safe' principles and policies.
- Flexibility: Availability to work split shifts as required.
- Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
- Certifications: Current Working with Children Check (WWCC), First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certifications.
