Heritage House Childcare and Early Learning Centres Graduate Programs & Internships

1. Send resume, including any certificates as well as transcripts

• Upon the resume, a phone interview will be conducted
• We like to do trials - 2 days preferrable (8 hours a day, and these trials are paid)
• Currently not doing in-person interviews due to the Covid, however, if we do, it is normally with the Nominated Supervisor and the Area Manager.

2. As outlined in any mandatory requirements of National Child Care Standards:

• Demonstrated ability to work with children and educators
• Holds a current First-Aid Certificate or is willing to undergo training to obtain one
• Has good character references and can be entrusted with the provision of quality care for the welfare of the children
• Has an interest and desire to work with children
• Possesses a demonstrated ability to communicate well with adults, children and management
• Can demonstrate an ability to supervise and support educators
• Is willing to undertake training to further skills and knowledge
• Is a minimum of 18 years of age
