The HeliMods Powered Aero Loader is a zero-lift, push-button operated stretcher loading system, used for rapid loading and unloading of road ambulance stretchers into HEMS aircraft. It enables up to 318kg (700lbs) of weight to be lifted into and out of an aircraft at the push of a button and in typically less than 30 seconds.
This world-first, patented innovation has now been adopted by Ornge and is fully operational across their AW139 air ambulance fleet, which services the province of Ontario.
