Disability Support Worker - TAFE Students Preferred null

Health Staff Australia is looking for  compassionate Disability Support Workers to empower and care for participants around the beautiful South Coast of New South Wales - Illawarra and Shoalhaven regions. We have participants as far north as Bulli and as south as Sanctuary Point (and everywhere in-between!).

You do not need a completed qualification for this role. This is a paid casual position  with the potential for full-time hours, if you would like them - Enjoy having complete control of your own roster - choosing when you work!

We are currently seeking passionate Disability Support Workers who ideally ( but not necessary)  have some professional or lived experience in care and who are sincerely committed to providing high-quality care to their participants.  We offer buddy shifts and require online training modules to be completed as part of the  training.

This role offers an opportunity to use your empathetic and caring nature to build meaningful relationships whilst supporting and empowering participants to live their best lives!

Unfortunately, we cannot offer this role as part of a qualification placement  and it does not go towards any part of a certification - THIS IS PAID CASUAL WORK.

 Basic rquirements: 

• No Qualification required – Onsite training available
• Experience preferred – Lived or professional ( no minimum amount)
• Willing to obtain a NDIS Workers screening check  
• Consent to a background check 
• Complete NDIS Modules and workpro modules
