We currently have exciting opportunities for driven individuals to join our Macquarie Park-based team as Trainee Field Service Engineers. Our Field Service Engineers provide field-based support to our customers to resolve customer affecting technical issues promptly and in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA's). As a trainee and working with experienced professionals, you will undergo a structured development program to build your knowledge and competency across Glory products and Field Service capabilities.
Key responsibilities of a Field Service Engineer include:
• Installing/commissioning and troubleshooting Glory products and equipment;
• Performing preventative maintenance;
• Installing approved software updates;
• Providing technical support in line with agreed SLA's;
• Effectively training customers in the correct use of Glory products and systems;
• Effectively 'debriefing' and reporting of service calls as required;
• Maintaining a thorough working knowledge of Glory products and systems;
• Actively participating in the on-call roster to provide after-hours and weekend support in line with customer requirements.
Favour will be given to candidates with the following:
• A recognised technical qualification (or working towards);
• Current drivers licence;
• Demonstrable technical aptitude;
• Ability to work independently;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Problem solving and analytical skills;
• Strong customer service orientation.
