The River Run conference is an annual networking and learning opportunity for all staff to engage and participate in a collective effort to establish and embed Council's shared goals, values and the pillars that underpin our continued success and future operations.
We encourage our staff to take advantage of 'acting in higher duties' roles and secondments to develop their leadership capabilities, broaden their skills and prepare them for potential future career progression opportunities.
Flexible working conditions
Most of our staff can take advantage of our flex time or RDO scheme, which could mean a nine-day fortnight for you.
Other benefits include:
Are you coming from another Council? It doesn't mean you lose the leave entitlements you've accumulated there. We will honour up to 13 weeks of accumulated sick leave and 5 years' worth of transferrable long service leave.
You have the option to reduce your taxable income by salary sacrificing additional super, childcare (Council Children's Centres), car parking (pending availability) or a novated car lease.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers confidential counselling services for employees and families.
Wellbeing program, including flu vaccinations, skin checks and more.
Fitness Passport with access to more than 200 gyms, leisure centres and pools.
We recognise that our employees want a workplace where they have the opportunity to use and develop their skills and receive recognition for their contribution.
Our Shine Bright Rewards program recognises outstanding service, performance, innovation and demonstration of the Council's mission, vision and values. This program respects the individual and is built on personal choice. Our people can choose their own rewards and how they receive their recognition. Our staff will be rewarded instantaneously for significant performance, innovation and demonstration of the Council's mission and values.
Additional perks
