Eligibility:

• Tertiary qualifications in one or more of the following areas:  Bachelor's degree of Spatial Science – major in Surveying, Bachelor of Spatial Science Technology – major in Surveying, or Equivalent qualification, acceptable for registration with the Surveyors Board of
  Queensland (SBQ).
• Full Australian working rights must be held from when you start with the department and maintained throughout your employment.
• A criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment as this role has access to sensitive data

Your role:

As a surveyor professional, you will use your expertise in geospatial data analysis and modelling to make informed decisions about infrastructure development that meets the current and future needs of local communities while providing value for the people of Queensland. 

You will ensure compliance with regulations and standards and produce 3D digital information for infrastructure development projects.

In the role of Graduate Surveyor you will utilise your technical skill and knowledge to assist in the delivery of geospatial products and services to assist the Department in planning, designing, constructing and managing its road network.
