Your role:

There are a wide range of digitally based projects across the department. There are continuous improvement projects as part of business as usual including digitising forms, automating processes and moving services online. There are also large change projects such as the Cooperative and Automated Vehicle Initiative (CAVI), the digital licence, and Smart Ticketing.

The Ticketing Operations team is part of the Passenger Transport Strategy and Technology Branch within Translink. We work with suppliers and transport operators to support the provision and operation of public transport ticketing solutions in Queensland. We ensure ticketing systems operate to agreed levels of availability and performance and meet compliance and regulatory requirements. The team also support the development, transition,and implementation of new ticketing solutions.

As a numerate graduate, you will support the Technology and Systems, Ticketing Operations team on a broad range of activities. This can involve working closely with staff from third party technology providers, transport operators and other teams within TMR.
