Eligibility:

  • A tertiary qualification in a STEM subject such as a degree in Project Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.

Your role:

There are a wide range of projects across the department, including infrastructure, digital and Human Resources projects. There are continuous improvement projects as part of business as usual including digitising forms, automating processes and moving services online. The Office of the Deputy Director-General heads the Infrastructure Management and Delivery division. We deliver and maintain the transport infrastructure across Queensland, including the statewide road network. 

In the role of Graduate Project Officer you will utilise a broad range of computer software programs and information management systems and databases to provide high level support services to project managers and/or team members which enhance the timely and effective delivery of project/s, ensuring compliance with appropriate legislation, organisational policies and procedures.
