Recruitment Process

2. Interviews are conducted with COVID-19 considerations:

Initial interview are conducted via zoom with either one or two lead staff for approximately 45min. Prior to entering the centre, invited applicants must follow the NSW Health Guidelines. Cubby College carries out precautionary sign in procedures that require temperature checks and hand sanitisation.

Essential Criteria

One of the following: Early Childhood Teacher qualified or working towards (casual, Traineeship, Cert III, Diploma & ECT or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood or completed 50% of Bachelor Degree)

A Working With Children Check
Current First -Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
Sound knowledge and current understanding of the NQS and NF.
Ability to work in partnership with families.
Professional level of written and verbal communication skills.
sound knowledge of Child Protection legislation and mandatory duties
Co-facilitate the successful implementation of the QIP.
support the team in ensuring the physical environment complies with the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
Support room colleagues to ensure the completion of the daily, weekly and monthly duties to ensure a safe, clean and hygienic environment that is welcoming to all.
Always act within the guidelines set out in the Code of Ethics.
