With a love for locally sourced produce and years of cooking in Sydney’s restaurants, she has combined this love and passion to create Crumpets by Merna.
Her crumpets are fermented small batch crumpets, with a focus on using the best local produce. They use Pepe Saya Buttermilk, Australian whole-meal flour, Australian blueberries and Olsson’s sea salt.
They serve them up weekly at Carriageworks Farmers Markets, and they deliver across Australia and supply to restaurants, cafes, hotels and airlines across Australia.
