Connect’s work started in Katoomba in 1981 with a small children’s disability service, Possum. Connect now supports families through its services in communities in the Lithgow, Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury and Western Sydney areas. Our family support programs include community-based playgroups, transition to school programs, volunteer-based parent and carer support programs, and the Brighter Futures program; NDIS and Medicare-funded disability and allied health care and programs; and early childhood education and care in three centres in Hazelbrook and Mt Victoria.
