This role requires a strong communicator, with the ability to articulate detailed descriptions and provide clear answers, especially when it comes to skin integrity checks and personal care tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exceptional Communication & Vocabulary Skills: We need someone who can provide detailed descriptions and answers during tasks, particularly for skin integrity checks. The ability to quickly comprehend and respond to verbal directions is critical for morning shifts, which focus on personal care such as showering, dressing, and transfers.
  • On-the-Job Learning: Training after buddy shifts will be verbal-only, as I am unable to physically demonstrate tasks. Clear communication is essential to ensure safety and reduce the risk of injury during personal care and transfers.
  • Client-Centred & Collaborative Approach: Work closely with the client and other team members to deliver high-quality, personalised care.
  • Comfortable with Personal Care: Some experience with personal care and skin integrity checks is ideal, though training will be provided.

Requirements:

  • Ability to clearly communicate and follow verbal directions
  • Strong commitment to reliability and punctuality
  • Willingness to undergo a NDIS Worker Screening Check

Why Join Us?

  • Receive thorough training and opportunities for professional growth
