Recruitment Process

The recruitment process for our technician roles:

  • Application (including your CV)
  • If shortlisted, you will be contacted for an informal phone screen so they can understand a little bit more about why you have applied and you can ask any questions you may about the role
  • Face-to-face interview with a Hiring Manager
  • If successful, a pre-employment medical will be undertaken and reference checks completed by Human Resources
  • The successful candidate will be offered a position

The selection criteria - a successful applicant:

  • Displays a keen interest in a career in the CMT industry
  • Demonstrates an unwavering commitment to quality assurance and workplace safety
  • Is self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously throughout the day, whilst also being a team player in the lab
  • Can work effectively under pressure, to meet expected productivity levels
  • Is physically fit and able to perform a manual labor-intensive role which includes heavy lifting.

Remuneration & Career Growth

Coffey Testing is covered by an Enterprise Agreement which offers the above Award conditions to all Technicians. Each Technical level has salary banding and salary along those bandings depends on experience.
