City of Newcastle (CN) is seeking an enthusiastic Survey Technician to support our Project Management Office team. As the successful candidate, you'll draw upon your proven experience with survey instruments and surveying software, performing minor surveys under supervision in accordance with the team's objectives to meet briefs of designers, planners, constructors and consultants.
You'll be responsible and accountable for the performance of a survey party to ensure duties are performed in accordance with WHS and Quality Assurance requirements. Additional responsibilities will include assisting Engineering Surveyors on major survey projects as required, maintaining SCIMS network and database, and keeping abreast of technological and regulatory advances in a dynamic work environment.
